Another little Apple book. I don't know what became of it. I was just
starting out as a photographer when Leonard Villano hired me to photograph
the instruments in his music store. He had some unique ones but the main
focus was pianos. I ended up buying a Kawai baby grand with MIDI from him.
I went out on a limb buying that piano, the most expensive instrument I ever
bought. I had an inheritance that put me in a position to make a purchase like
that, but this piano was a quality instrument.
I did miscalculate because we lived in a mobile home at that time a didn't
have a place to put it. I had sold the house on Yale Street and just assumed
that before long we'd be in another. So I ended up in keeping that beauty in
storage units. I had been assured that the piano would only appreciate in its
value, and was really an investment. We had a heck of a hurricane season
one year and nobody was buying pianos. I finally sold the piano to a whole-
saler who gave me less than ⅓ of what I paid for it. That's a hard pill to swallow.
Please note: When I click on the image in Safari, it opens the PDF in a separate window, which was my intention. it does not download it. When I click
on it in Firefox, it downloads it to my Desktop. This was not my intention, and I think it may have to do with the settings in the browser's Preferences. I have yet
to work this out with tech support. This is a very large file, which may take 30 seconds or more to load.
