Peacocks

tt

No peacocks here. Well, just this one. A photographer buddy & I went to a location she knew where peacocks frequent, but we were disappointed to find none that day.

I saw one in the 80's in our backyard at the Yale Street house.

s I have a couple of photos with peacocks that wandered out of the woods (see September, 2005 on my Botanical Gardens page), and one taken at Mac Perry's. Mac lived near the Park Street brick streets where there are supposed to be so many that they're considered a nuisance.

Mac Perry's peacock.

I don't know about the fowl, but Mac has moved on from this life. I didn't know him long, but he was a multi–talented guy, an artist, musician, and author.

I have two of his books, one on the life of Jesus. I first met him at some kind of celtic music event. I'll post the photos I took with his celtic harp. I believe he was also a historian and poss-

ibly an architect. His house was on an Indian mound, which he had written about. He died of cancer.
