Wait On The Lord

Words & Music by james madison thomas

This song was written, I think, in 1988, and, I think, recorded on a TASCAM Portastudio although I’m not certain.

I found an old MIDI file of it on my computer, generated by my Opcode Vision program. That was my first sequencer program on my Mac Plus, which I bought in 1985. I think it’s my most popular song, at least the catchiest, not that anybody’s listening. Funny how, after all these years, I still like it a lot.

I really miss being able to sing.

I made the video in 2015, recreating it from the sheet music generated by that old MIDI file. By then I had a very

nice Yamaha 88-weighted key piano, which I still have and

love.
