Romans 1 NKJV

          For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown

it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power

and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in

their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.

          Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

          I see the Lord as the artist behind all the gorgeous skies I'm constantly photographing. The diversity of the seabirds here is another testament to His creativity. I believe photography is approved by God, because we get to use His raw material for our own enterprises. In Bible times, the Israelites would constantly fall back into idolotry, and in doing that, invoke God's wrath. We must keep our wits about us and not be deceived and allured by man–made beauty or accomplishment.

Psalm 19 (NLT)          For the choir director: A psalm of David

The heavens proclaim the glory of God.

The skies display his craftsmanship.

Day after day they continue to speak;

night after night they make him known.

They speak without a sound or word;

their voice is never heard.

Yet their message has gone throughout the earth,

and their words to all the world.

God has made a home in the heavens for the sun.

It bursts forth like a radiant bridegroom after his wedding.

It rejoices like a great athlete eager to run the race.

The sun rises at one end of the heavens

and follows its course to the other end.

Nothing can hide from its heat.
